Latifa Laâbissi artist - choreographer

After completing her studies at the Merce Cunningham Studio in New York, she went on to collaborate with Jean-Claude Gallotta, Loïc Touzé, Georges Appaix, Jennifer Lacey, Nadia Lauro, Frans Poelstra and Robert Stern, Boris Charmatz and Emmanuelle Huynh, with whom she has worked on several research projects. She successively created L’âme et le corps duo, Phasmes, I Love Like Animals, Love, Habiter, Distraction, self portrait camouflage. Her interest in teaching lead her to show in various settings, such as universities, art schools, and centres of choreography. In Rennes, she co-directs 391 together with Loïc Touzé, and she is part of the collective Aéroport International (Rennes), developing a new space for dance.

Sophie Laly graduated from Beaux-Arts in Dijon

She makes video installations that question and analyse notions of time and space-time. Her work is inspired by various subjects, ranging from cinema to biology and physics. She went to Paris in 1998, where she became a projectionist in 1999 while continuing with her own work. She has an affinity with contemporary dance : she made films on dance (Daniel Larrieu, Alain Buffard, Emmanuelle Huynh, Latifa Laâbissi, Boris Charmatz, Christian Rizzo) ; and she collaborated on several artistic projects (Emmanuelle Huynh – ” ligne d’arrivée “ – laboratoire de travail, / Rachid Ouramdane (“à l’œil nu” / “cover“ (création 2005), / Christian Rizzo, - a project in progress in Vietnam).

Jocelyn Cottencin artist and graphic designer

In 2001, he founded lieuxcommuns, a structure conceived as a space of research related to visual arts. He has worked on various publications, most notably with Anne Durez, and Nathalie Collantes. Recently, he collaborated on « Love », a choreography by Loïc Touzé and Latifa Laâbissi. His first own exhibition is being produced by Frac Bretagne, and includes graphic design, photography, video and installation. At the moment he is working on various interventions in public spaces, and he is preparing a project together with La Criée Centre d’art (Rennes) which will take place between Porto, San Sebastian and Glasgow.
